PilotJourney.com has created this privacy statement ("Statement") in order to demonstrate our commitment to our visitor and customer privacy. Privacy on the PilotJourney.com web site (the "Site") is of great importance to us. We use commercially reasonable practices to ensure your data integrity by ensuring access is limited to you and that your data is not violated or accessed by unauthorized persons.  We are fortunate in that we use a company called RackSpace for our dedicated server managment.  This is "the" leading server managment company in the world.

USER DATA
PilotJourney.com visitors and users who register to provide contact information, such as their name, company name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. PilotJourney.com will use the information to set up Services for you or to keep you informed about PilotJourney.com services via email.

PilotJourney.com practices only permission based marketing. At the bottom of all emails you have the opportunity to "opt-out" or edit your interests so that email campaigns are relevant to your goals.

All billing information that is collected is used solely to bill for Services. This billing information is not used by PilotJourney.com for marketing or promotional purposes. PilotJourney.com uses a third party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. However, PilotJourney.com shall not be liable for the negligence or willful misconduct of such credit card processor. PilotJourney.com may also collect certain information from visitors to and customers of the Site, such as Internet addresses. PilotJourney.com tracks the Internet address of the domains from which users visit the PilotJourney.com Web Site and analyze this data for trends and statistics.

PilotJourney.com may also aggregate non-user specific information to track trends across student-based data. This information will not be attributable to you.

EMPLOYEES & CONTRACTORS ACCESS & PRIVACY TRAINING
PilotJourney.com employees and contractors have access to some transaction information in order to provide professional service. We limit that access to the minimum information required in order to provide prompt, high quality service. Pilot Journey team members DO NOT have access to your credit card data UNLESS YOU GIVE TO THEM.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
If you complete a form on our site expressing an interest in learning to fly, we WILL share your information with people that can help you with information on your goals.  In ALL other instances we WILL NOT share your information with third parties.

INFORMATION/DATA CENTER SECURITY
We store transaction information on commercially reasonably secure computers located in a locked data center. Only authorized employees involved in the management of the data center have physical access to these computers. We use commercially acceptable practices in the acquisition and deployment of firewalls and other security technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons.

COOKIES
PilotJourney.com uses session-based cookies for certain areas on the web site. For example, in the Forums and pilot store, you are given the opportunity to remove these "cookies". No other information is captured in the cookie file, nor is any information permanently transferred to the user's system.
