Hey whats going on. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with ATP. I just received some information about what they have to offer. It seem pretty good. They offer all sorts of options from fast tract to self paced curriculum. With lots of multi- engine time. If anyone could kindly offer me some more information about this school. weather they attend or found some more information online. Thanks

I got my MEI at ATP in BWG.  Very structured program.  It was good for the rating and that is it.  Real world flying, maybe, maybe not.  I did only get my MEI there, so it is possible with the other programs (upwards of $60K) you can get some real education out of it...

I have heard good things and bad things about ATP.  Some say they rush you through the training and don't spend enough time with you...kinda like you are a number instead of a customer.
However, if you are really trying to "fly" through your training and you want only to get the ratings and nothing more...give it a try.

I personally have gone to Falcon Aviation Academy where the customer service and quality of training is excellent.  They are located in Peachtree City, Ga. and have a brand new fleet of Diamond aircraft (all within 3 years)  I have loved every minute of my training there and am slowly (my pace) working on my CFI ratings.

Employment oppurtunities are a must when looking for a flight school and Falcon has them.  Whether you want to instruct for awhile or move directly to the airlines, Falcon has opportunities for you.  As employees of Falcon you can build the flight time and experience you need should you decide on the airlines or other corporate flight department.

Check them out.  www.faa-air.com

Any questions...e-mail me at ffcpilot@yahoo.com

I have completed my Private thru their Jacksonville,FL Campus.. It is true that they push you and dont really spend enought time... I think the problem is that the program is so accelerated and when you start teaching there (if you decide to) you pretty much know that you'll be out of there in a few months.. so most CFI's dont really care about students much.. Ive been lucky to get a  good CFI..
Also, because of the speed of the program - you're allowed FEW mistakes.. Take too long to solo? Seems like you cant get the landing down? Those would count aganst you.. Dont ask me why, but i've seen that happen..
But anyway, ATP  IS a good school, but be ready to make no mistakes and be pushed to the limit..
I'm finishing up elsewhere.. They DO sound good, but once you're in there - picture changes...
