Hey yo seasoned jetjocks..squawk ident! Wink

Have been absent from flying for 4 years(except for PC Microsoft Flight Sim with serious add ons), and recently did my BFR with instrument prof check at night.Having amassed 650 hours mostly on turboprops, I ashamedly found myself a little bewildered in a modern GPS equipped c172 during initial 30 minutes. I admit to being rushed in the twilight hours to perform maneuvres before the Instrument Prof check, and so found the stress level a little high.My confidence is bumped up especially after reviewing my weaknesses on PC flight sim.I still think I could use a better recurrency training and preparation to transition to jet transport with the objective of landing an airline job. What kind of prep and where can I find it? I was looking into advanced Frasca (Hawker 800) or type rating on King Air or PA31. kindly advise me on a cost effective route to this endeavour.

Cherio chaps!

Flying wisdom is hardly spelt by the hours that you fly.It is what's inside the hours that make the pilot in you that you are..remember that when you plan to fly.Remember the privilege of flying in having the means to defy gravity!Every flight is a lesson. So, strive to gain that experience.M.Abbas
