Hey yo seasoned jetjocks..squawk ident!

Have been absent from flying for 4 years(except for PC Microsoft Flight Sim with serious add ons), and recently did my BFR with instrument prof check at night.Having amassed 650 hours mostly on turboprops, I ashamedly found myself a little bewildered in a modern GPS equipped c172 during initial 30 minutes. I admit to being rushed in the twilight hours to perform maneuvres before the Instrument Prof check, and so found the stress level a little high.My confidence is bumped up especially after reviewing my weaknesses on PC flight sim.I still think I could use a better recurrency training and preparation to transition to jet transport with the objective of landing an airline job. What kind of prep and where can I find it? I was looking into advanced Frasca (Hawker 800) or type rating on King Air or PA31.
kindly advise me on a cost effective route to this endeavour.
Cherio chaps!
