Thought we would test out the new polling feature here and find out from folks how long it took to get your Private Certificate?

It took me exactly 65 hours. My checkride was hour 65. I might have done it in less if I didn't take a three month hiatus just after my first supervised solo, but the main thing is that I did get it. And the FAA Administrator was IMPRESSED with my flying skills. Cheesy What could be better?

Hello surv1 and thanks for being a new member! Welcome!

That is a VERY good time to complete the private, job well done. Where do you fly out of?

By the way it took me 58, and I learned in Nashville TN at KBNA, Nashville International Airport.
