As a full-time Corporate Pilot/ "Gold Seal" Flight & Ground Instructor/ FAA Aviation Safety Counselor/ National Magazine Writer,  I am willing to share what I know about flying with any level pilot.  I am not looking to take over as your instructor but I do make an educated second opinion.

You pose the question and myself and other members of this forum will give our thoughts on it.  Makes for some interesting conversation.  It's all "Free"
so what have you got to lose.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Would you be knowing anything about an FSR - Field Service Representative?
Say for a Co like P& W...
Who is an FSR, what are his key functions/responsibilities, and what does he get paid?
I understand it's more of a Customer Support thing...

Thanks

SIR I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING HEIGHT TO PUT IN FRONT OF YOU.
I AM A 17yrs OLD INDIAN GIRL & MY HEIGHT IS 5"2. I WANT TO KNOW IS THAT TOO SHORT TO BECOME A COMMERCIAL PILOT AND AS WELL AS WILL IT PROVE A DIFFICULTY TO GET THE JOB IN GOOD AIRLINES.

              THANKS.

height normally isn't an issue, 5'2" seems plenty tall enough to fly any plane. remember that just like a car most of the seats are adjustable, and if not then the pedals normally can move forward.

Hello Nick

My name is Aditya U Nair from India resideng at Bangalore Karnatake. I am 20yrs of age and presently pursuinig Engineering and plan to take up flight traning to become a commercial pilot. Since i am new to this field, I would be obliged if you could send me some details about flight traning.  I know that PPL,CPL,MER,IR are some of the licenses required to become a commercial pilot. I would also like to know the amount of flying hours(in total) that is required to join the airline industry.

I am currently in the USAF stationed in UK. When I get out I want to start a career as a commercial pilot. Currently I am NOT a pilot, just an avionics technician. I will be in England for another 2 years and I want to get a start on my pilots license. If I earned a pilot's license here in England would it be transferable to an FAA pilots license so I could complete training when I return to the states?
