can anyone give me some info on what I will need to have for ground school. Basically I took my intro flight and I have know have caught the bug. I have always loved planes, just never really thought I would be flying. Anyways, I kinda want to get a jump on ground schooling. I have been using flight sim for quit awhile so I am actually comfortable flying. I just want to be ready for ground schooling.

Thanks much

Hi Sanjito - welcome!

I am sorry to here you have the big Cheesy -- actually we all do!!

You asked a great question:

The great thing about learning to fly are all the MANY ways you can do the ground school. Here is a link to an article in case you missed it here on the web site. Ground School Strategies

And here is another one about pilot ground school options.

The really good news is that you can also buy single book like this one

Or even an online ground school from Gleim.

And I might even can loan you my King Schools DVD program for Free since you are a Pilot Journey forum member!

Thanks, great info. I may take you up on the king videos. I do have another question. What is the difference between sport pilot and private pilot? I started a blog that I am going to keep up to date on my training. I will give more info as time goes on.

That would be cool if we could link to your blog and maybe even we could post your experience here in the forums, or even create an article for the main site...

People would like to read this, I know I would Smiley
