Hi everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Magnolia, Texas and I've wanted to fly since I was a young boy. I'm now 52 and not getting any younger, and decided that I will get my Pilot's license, instrument rating, and twin engine rating all in 2008!
Since time is a critical factor, I plan to begin in March, and do it all without stopping, by taking vacation time and not returning to work until I have accomplished my goals.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the Houston area. Mike Walton

Hi Mike! Welcome! That's great that you have set specific goals for yourself.
I'm just starting out too. I'm in FL, want to get my PPL and then Instrument.
