Hello everybody,

I'm a graduate student doing some research on weather related accidents and I could use your help!  I need to collect in-flight pictures of various degrees of severe weather, from clear skies to severe thunderstorms.  If you have any pictures that you might have taken or if you wouldn't mind taking some on your next flight I would greatly appreciate it.

The pictures I need should be:
  • Resolution 1024 x 800 or higher
  • Clear, not blurry
  • Taken in-flight
  • Of the weather

The images will be used in tests to see which features of the weather different pilots use to make weather-related decisions.

You, or the photographer who took the pictures, will be credited for your help. No images will be used commercially in any way and no images will be reprinted without your consent.

You can post the pictures here or email them to me at msawyer3@gmail.com.  Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.  Also, if you know of a good website for finding these types of pictures I would certainly appreciate that as well.

Thanks!
Michael
