Hi.  I live in CT near NYC.  Closest airports are Danbury or Westchester.  Where would you recommend beginning flight training?  Also, how old is too old to begin program to become commercial pilot? Cheesy

My personal favortie is Panorama Flight Service at Westchester Airport (KHPN). I have used them for my basic PPL and all my ratings including IR. They are pretty much the best in the area.

Whenever I stop at HPN, I go to Panorama. It's seems to be a well run FBO with nice facilities. Just be aware that HPN can get very busy and that can add to your overall training costs with longer waits for clearances.
