oh really? well, i live in Southern California, and i live 30mins away from Mount San Antonio College. They offer the basic fly pre classes such as "navigation, aviation weather, aviation safety, aircraft & engines, federal aviation regulations, instrument ground school, primary pilot ground school, air transportations and commercial flight. these are total of 27 units, but it states that if i want to graduate with an A.S. degree in commercial flight, i will need to accumulate 60units total, so that means the rest of the units i will need to get from the general ed. first. Besides i know what i want now, aviation is what i want, and in the industry of aviation i will need to obtain a B.S. degree, so i think general ed. is required for all.

Hi, my name is Alan, I'm from Taiwan. I am attending Fullerton Junior College at the moment. trying to finish the G.Es as required like everyone else, and i am going to transfer to Mount San Antonio College next year, because i live close by, hoping to get in the aviation program. I heard they have a great flighting team, i can't wait! But, before all that fun stuff, i have couple questions that i am still confused about. Can anyone please take their time and answer my questions, that would help me a lot, to choose my careerer path as a pilot.

#1. Can i still fly if i wear eyeglass? "nearsighted"

#2. What math / science skill is required? If there is any.

#3. What are the expenses? How much will i have to spent? It varies? (I am an international student and that means a lot of $$.)

#4. I heard the field of aviation is not stable, why is that?
