Jason I echo your thoughts and then some since being here. This place is amazing. I finished Pvt ground school and scored over a 90 on my FAA exam.

The program here is so well structured, the campus is great, and I couldn't have hoped for a better school! It is challenging and you have to commit yourself to this training for sure, but its so much fun if you truly love to fly as Jason says.

I am amazed by all the great things I hear the folks from the airlines say that have come down so far about how well our students are trained and perform. That is awesome to hear when you think about how much you spend for this type of training, to know you picked the right school!

Jason you did a much better job of describing the environment here than I ever could, thanks for the great write up and for helping to lead me here!

I called them and got all the info. Set up to start Oct. 1st as long as the bank doesnt take to long to switch my loan over from JU to FSA, but it looks like they may have that all done by Monday.

Bill thanks for all the PM advice, Cherokee over on another board who is there now set me clear on a few things too.

Decision: Called my bank today and cancled the loan. I am going over to FSA, much better school from what the students there are saying about it I will love it.

Even read some current pilot comments calling it a quality program.

Wish me luck Bill and thanks for all your advice! At least you saved me from JU hell, wish I could do the same for you and others!

Jason what are the costs there from 0 hours to the point you can go to work or start instructing?

What is the timeline from 0 to commercial pilot or instructor?

Really enjoyed your post, thank you!

Bill did you end up at 9E?

I cant reach my friend lately, he cant afford to pay his phone bill is my guess, making what he does! Sad that they pay so little on regionals at first.

when did you go through JU? How much time in a plane did you get total hours wise?

ok so you completed and you made it through the hiring process at pinnacle (is that what your calling 9E?)? If not what happened to you? What is 9E if that is not Pinnacle you speak of, and send me more info on this other bridge program you speak of.

You say you talked with Clint, he works for who?

My loans are in place and I start my 9-10 months of training in October, so I am dying to hear more. I would lose my deposits too probably...

Ok you have me a little worried about my decision here so I am all ears.

SJS? Does it matter, he has a job doing what he has always dreamed of, and I personally would love to be guilty of SJS if that equals me flying a plane for an airline. (although I do want the training to enable me to do it well)

I felt that a first hand impression of the experience would be more valuable, and that is what I have been researching. Understanding my friend to be a little biased as it turned out so good for him, I am still open to more information as everyone is different etc. I am just asking this poster to qualify his remarks about pinnacle, and to tell us more about why he is so upset with this school so that we can all learn more from his experience.

My friend got off reserve status after just 1 month, and is loving his job, so JU cant be all bad right? He did say the pay sucks right now but gets better after a couple years.

I will check out the site you mentioned. Thanks

Quoting my other reply to your other post on this school Bill:
Bill, that doesn't match at all what a friend of mine told me that he experienced while attending Jet U.

I also noticed in another post that you stated Pinnacle pulled up stakes with them. I was also thinking I would attend there since my buddy made it through with what he says is a great experience, and is now working at Pinnacle. So because of what you said, I called Cynthia in their pilot recruiting department and she says that this is far from true. Their web site also currently shows it as an approved bridge program. Jet U is in the top 2 listed actually.

So did you complete the training at Jet U Bill? If so tell us more about what happened to you there please, and why you are personally so bitter with them.
