Its good to see people informing other people of the reality of JET U so they dont have to go through what I did and so many others. Heath Cohen is one of the biggest Con artist in the industry and I hope people getting the word out closes the door on him and his other two little helpers.

To answer your 9E is pinnacle airlines Sounds like you are going down to do 0 time to ATP in what they say 9 months. Now saying you pass everything the first time I think 6months for what they are saying is a little optimistic on there hand and you can ask any other pilot on this forum. So there is one thing I would reconsider. Have you seen the facilities that you will be living in for the next 9 to 10 months or LONGER? Compare these area to Flight Safety and I will see you get much more for your money. I just had a buddy finish there and it took him about 18months he did take about 3 to 4 months off for personel stuff. But he only did Private to Commerical so add another 3 months on for Jet Transistion.
Per the contract with Jet U which I guess has changed you will lose your 1000.00 deposit but if thats all you lose then I wouldnt frown on it to much. But with the new contract I have talked to one person that is doing the zero time to Jet Transistion and he says in the new contract if you fail 3 or 4 times I cant remember exactly you are dismissed from the school and this includes stage checks and sim rides so be careful there.
Another thing I would do if I where you would request the contract and read through it extremely carefully and make sure it makes you HAPPY and that what BOB and any other recruiter is telling you isnt a lie. One major lie that BOB and the other recruiters told me and your friend to is the Full motion SIM time you will get.
The person Clint yes he did use to work there you can actually see him on there web site under Media where they explain everything about JET u he is the person that picks up the CRJ . Im just wondering what you thought of the living area that you will in habit? Just remember there is no grocery stores within walking distance and there is no oven, stove or proper cooking area as one should get with a fully furnished facility. Also the rooms where extremely tiny and you didnt recieve a desk like they said. So if you do watch the video Im talking about dont go by the room that you seen on the video.
Flt time was zero that can be logged.
If you can think of any more question go right ahead and ask but if I was you I would extremely closely for another school. I know you just wanna get it done and get a job but before you go and invest in your career you should research which airline would be the best for you. Because you never know if you will be stuck there for a longer period of time then ever figured.
One last thing and then I will let you think about this and respond. For a person that did all his flying at a FBO then going to JET U for the transition course. I would have to say is you can do it for alot cheaper and get much better instruction at a FBO and then put a little time in on studying profiles and flows before you go for your class date and you will come ahead. I mean you already have a friend at 9E so you can save money on the that portion.

Draden~
I did complete the program and if I had the chance I would of gone a way different route. If 9E is the company you wanna fly for then they have a cheaper route through their bridge program and you actually receive full motion Sim time. What Jet U has to offer would be the best but the people who run the program are what bring it down. One major down fall to the program is the scheduling, (Mark) will change the schedule multiple times starting at 8 and go all the way to 12am having you wondering when and what you will be doing. I would ask your friend about that. I'm also wondering is Robert (Bob)Elimeleck still trying to sell you on the full motion Sim time that they don't give you. They tell you 20hrs of CRJ full motion Sim time and they pay for all the transportation but in actually they send you down to Miami on your own and put you in a MD-80 Sim no where near a CRJ-200 or 900 last I check. The job guarantee they offer is true in the contract but they dont follow up on it if something did happen. I had a couple of friends that where not so lucky and failed the interview portion and Mark and Heath did nothing for them. Another example on how crooked they are is they had one student come down when he was only 20 and infromed him that they could bend the rules for him and when it came to interview time he interviewed and was offered the job but only after he turned 21 in 10 months. After 9E left he met with Mark and they tried to Hatch something out and he believed they did. He returned home for some stuff and when he returned Mark and Heath said they offered nothing to him and there part of the contract was up.
About the bridge program with JU and 9E I was informed that they where xlding it. I also asked Clint who was employeed with them and he said yes the bridge is no longer but they do have Air Wisconsin and PSA but have not shown up yet. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will answer.
All Im trying to say to people here is your money can be spent in a better way and you still will get a job with an airline. But if you like beening treated like nobody while beeing trained then by all means go to Jet U. But be ready for lies upon lies.

From a Student that has gone throught the program let me Tell you to not think twice about this place. First off Heat Cohen and the other Two partners are old Gulf Stream Academy people that are hated by the airline community. Second off they offer more then they can give. One is the Job Gur. the first class to have people not get hired Jet U did nothing for them breaking every rule in there contract. And for the living situation in there dorms lets just say your paying way to much. I have a budy in Flight Safety and is living on Campus and was paying 100 ro 150 less then me he was sharing a place with 2 other guys but had a room as big as mine and his own personel TV, Stove, Microwave and other important things including a maid that came a couple times a week at Flight Safety. Compared to Jet U community Broom and no oven.
If they are telling you they give you 20 Hrs of CRj full motion ask to see the contract and in there you will see no mention of CRJ full motion nor 20 hours but you will see comparable aircraft and upto 20 hrs. Which trnaslates to 4hrs in full motion 2hrs at the controls and 2hrs as Pilot monitoring. And for the aircraft they put you in a MD-80 no where near a CRJ200/700/900 the last time I checked.
And for the training that Jet U supplies well I have to give them a little praise hear but only for muscle memory which some one like you could do your self with a little disaplin. But besides that they offer nothing more. There training has turned out such low quality Pilots that Pinnacle Airlines has pulled there contract with them. Reason for this is one Jet U student experienced the Stick Shaker shortly after take off and was sent back to training. Another has been on IOE 2 months longer then scheduled and is facing being fired if he doesnt get his approaches down within the next couple of weeks. These are only a couple of people from a long list of complaints

I have attended Jet Univesity and think its a Waste of money and a complete Scham. The President Heath Cohen is an OLD Gulf Stream personel and when he was there was hated by the air line community and its showing in there ability to attract airlines in the door. Another person that is or was a share member was Mark and I dont know is last name he was head of scheduling but was relieved of that posistion las I heard probably because no one like him due to him mind games he would play on people. Mark wouldnt Show up until 12 or even 2 some times and wouldnt start working on the weekly schedule until about 10pm at night and would change it multiple times during the night. I think the record was 4 to 6 times in a couple of hours. The other owner in this Company is Mathias Bowmen (Sp) who is a FO for Air Tran is ready to fill your head with complete lies about the industrie and how much the airlines love this place. Pinnacle pulled up stakes and will no longer be hiring from Jet U proble becuase of the problems they have had with the students coming out of there. One student got the Stick shaker 15 ft after take off and was sent back for training. While another student has been on IOE for about 3 months now and is on his last trial or he is out. There are a ton more problems with this School besides old graduates and people filling you with lies. If I was you I would consider a different option one that will produce something for you in the end. And for the Job Guarentee dont believe them one of my friends didnt pass the interview and Jet U just released him after that.
