1  Starting Out / General Discussion and Introductions / Career Change on: June 11, 2007, 02:25:34 pm
After having worked in the financial industry for 20 years I have now decided for a career change.I am fast approaching 40 but I am very interested in a career in aviation. So does anyone have any advice for someone of my age.I will have enough funds to fund my flight education and I guess my lifestyle will change with a lower salary once I do start work in my new field, but does anyone have some advice for an older person like me. Is it too late to become an airline pilot? Do I go with a flight school or academy? Is there any particular fieled of flying which an older person with no experience is not at a disadvantage?
Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Pete
