Title: Average Joe Post by: harley on March 05, 2006, 05:53:53 PM Hello, I' m new to this forum. I'm kind of dreaming here, but what are the chances of an average person becoming a pilot. I see the airlines require you to have four years of college, which I don't have. Surfing the internet I found a school where they teach you to fly, then they say their students get jobs with regional carriers. I don't come from an aviation family and I don't have any flying trainning.
Last fall I took a trip out to Las Vegas. It was amazing looking down to the ground from 36,000 feet in the air. I've flown before, but this last trip I seemed more into it. Looking up at an airplane flying or at one landing or taking off, they look so graceful. Its like art work or poetry. I'm a truck driver right now and I have to deal with cars tailgating and cutting me off. Airplanes have their own airspace. They don't have anyone tailgating or cutting them off. Thanks for your time. Title: Average Joe Post by: 66 viking on March 14, 2006, 09:48:11 AM Quote from: harley Hello, I' m new to this forum.
