Hi Nick,

Yes it just got a little quite of late :) I am about to do a mailing to several thousand people and that should wake people up.

Also there are some really new things we have been working on like the Pilot Journey Flyers Club that starts later this week and that should get people in here and talking.

Title: Here I Am!

I've been around. I actually saw your post on Monday, but I've been busy with that pesky, RESPONSIBILITY monster. If you ask me what I've been responsible doing, I have no idea. Adult junks. Bills, house cleaning, working... boring stuff. I also started back in school, so that has been taking a lot of my time too. I haven't flown in a month come Friday!  :o I'm starting to get the shakes. But I did call and reserve a plane for Halloween. Hee hee.

I've noticed the quiet here, too. I haven't had much to add on the flight front. October is more of  a Family month for me. But there was a really cool Air Show here. We haven't had an airshow in over 20 years, and that's the truth. Pretty impressive. We had the Blue Angels, and a bunch of civy Aerobatics, the Coast Guard showing off, Paratroopers, and the infamous F-117. It was an excellent show. I only hope we can have another one before 20 years.

Other than that. Things have been interesting in the Hawaiian skies. We've had two small plane crashes and two helicopter crashes in the last month. Only one plane had engine problems. Everything else seemed to have run into IFR condition unexpectedly. But the NTSB is still out on that. It's making people jumpy. Not to mention some kid high on ice crashing through the general aviation gate at Honolulu International and running around behind the hangers trying to run people over before eventually ramming his car into a Sheriff's car. GA is definitely under the gun down here. But we are still handling our own.  :D
