Title: Current International Student Looking for Info... Post by: Moses on June 13, 2007, 07:03:57 am I'm an international student currently in the U.S. and have been for the past couple years in pursuit of my bachelors degree. My goal has always been to become a career pilot.
Needless to say, in the world of today it's a lot tougher for an international student to get in the field, but I'm looking for that exactly... Information on training, financing, possibility of work... I'll be getting by bachelors in the next couple years and need to know if it'd be advisable to begin looking and training now, or after my degree. I apologize, my questions are rather muddled up. Thanks Title: Re: Current International Student Looking for Info... Post by: falconflyer on July 02, 2007, 06:22:25 pm It really depends on your VISA status. Certain flight schools (non univeristy type) are approved to train under the M-1 VISA. Other VISA's may not apply. Of course if you have your green card then this is also an acceptable. It would be best to find a flight school that you know trains international students and direct your situation to them.
