Title: Thinking about going to flight school Post by: scott on January 10, 2007, 09:33:55 pm Hi all! I'm new to the fourms here and i just thought I'd ask a simple question. ok i'm 28 yrs old and a complete flying nut!i love flying and aircraft of all types! nothing woud please me more than to be a professional pilot weither it be flying cargo or flying for a regional airline or a flight instructor! I'm not looking to be a big time international airline pilot and the pay really donen't matter to me. I would just like a carrer in flying.i'm thinking about maybe applying to an acedmy but,I have't been to college...........is this going to squash my dream of flying for a living? any input on this would be helpful and appreciated! thanks!

Well college is important at least 2 years some Airline Requests other 4 years! thanks God it's behind me i have 4 years degree on BCs Aerospace and Flight Engineering. But there's Several Schools in Florida Such-es Comair Delta Connection Academy i Suggest for you because they have a Unique Course converted with Riddle University to get Ur degree in the Same time you doing Ur flight training. If u want to enter a academy as u said, it's the best choice that you could hit 2 birds at once. hope i did help... Delta Connection Academy is a GREAT program that offers the ability to attend one of several different colleges to get your degree WHILE getting your pilot training! They have one of the most talked about programs out there! To have a career as a professional pilot, it will be very advantageous to aquire that 4 year degree! You are on the right track! Keep asking questions!
