Ballard Aviation offers every possible rating from private pilot to airline transport. We specialize in advanced ratings from multi-engine to flight instructor. With Checkrides and FAA testing done on site, Ballard is a one stop shop. In fact we have the best multi-engine fleet in the area.
We also work with many international students to help them acheive their aviation goals.
ABOUT OUR LOCATION
When you fly here at Ballard Aviation you will fly in some of the most enjoyable and complex airspace in the world. Enjoyable because the beauty of the mountains,  ocean and Los Angles area. And in our case, complex is a good thing! We are in airspace that allows you to train in an excellent environment for your future.
In the LA area you will totally enjoy our IFR training as we have great air traffic controllers in airspace that will never get boring!
MISSION STATEMENT
As a former student of many different flight schools, I know how hard was for me to find a flight school that was reasonable and with quality personnel.
Since I own my own flight school, it is my mission to insure we have not only the best running and best looking aircraft that we offer quality personnel with years of flight experience.
My feeling is you're only as good as your instructor, what you  failed to learn, your instructor failed to teach!
Ballard Aviation offers the "personal touch" approach to flight training. We treat you like we would like to be treated.
