The Atlantic Flyer, “The Voice of The General Aviation Community” has for over 22 years followed and reported on the changing trends in the aviation industry. We provide information to student, recreational, and professional pilots, as well as aviation enthusiasts. We cover all types of aircraft from light sport planes, single and multi engine aircraft, gliders, war birds, to personal jets, we even have ongoing articles on parachuting and ballooning. The Atlantic Flyer is distributed free to over 850 airports along the Atlantic Coast from Maine to Florida out to the Ohio Valley. The newspaper is available in FBOs, airport terminals, restaurants, flight schools, avionics and maintenance shops, everywhere pilots and flight enthusiasts are likely to congregate. Each month we reach over 72,000 readers, thousands of subscribers, and we receive more than 180,000 hits on our web site, www.aflyer.com. Each month our 56 page newspaper, 32 pages in full color, covers the newest trends in the industry: from light sport aircraft to personal jets. In our Chcekpoints section we provide a comprehensive calendar of aviation events. We include important news and information from EAA, AOPA, and the FAA. Our nationally-known columnists include: Gilles Auilard, Jim Bates, Jean Hardy, Bill Crawford, James E. Ellis, Michael Sullivan, Dan Johnson, Herb Hill, Lachlan Ivy, Jim Trusty. Brigit Hartop and Sal Lagonia. In each issue, we present a selection of articles from our pool of talented writers, telling personal aviation stories from World War II to today. For weekend fun, we list information on air shows, glider events, and balloon rallies. Our classified section is a great place to list your plane, product or services for sale. Our Tailwind Traveler section offers suggestions for day and weekend fly-away locations, and the $100 Hamburger section suggests great places to stop for a bite to eat. On our web site, we provide the last 12 months of the newspaper online, plus we offer a listing of EAA chapter meetings and events, flying clubs, as well as information on museums and other places of interest. The Atlantic Flyer offers a variety of advertising opportunities: display, classified, and web advertising. Something to fit every advertiser’s needs and budget. So why not advertise your product or service in a publication that is readily available, and actually read by pilots, aircraft owners, and business professionals.
